The spring courses last for 18 classes, last classes latest June 6.

We aim to have a good leader/follower balance in our courses, and everyone changes partners during classes to improve learning.
When registering with a partner you can register directly.
When registering alone you need to register through the waitlist.
The waitlist is checked weekly and you will be accepted as soon as there’s a partner or if it is within an acceptable ratio.

At Avec we use Mindbody to manage all our students and courses.

So if you haven’t got an Avec Mindbody account yet please follow these steps to set up your account.

Click on My Account in our menu bar
Click on “Create Profile” and fill out all the required details
In order to speed up the purchase check out process in future, add a debit/credit card. Head to your profile and under account info add a debit/credit card in the payment info section. This is also where you can update it if your card expires. And at any time here you can check your purchase history, passes available on your account, schedule and history.
Click on the registration button which will take you to our course selection page, remember that for partner courses you will need to enter if you want to dance as a follower or leader during the class.

HOW TO FIND A PARTNER FOR YOUR COURSE

1) If you already know other students from your previous classes you would like to train with, don’t hesitate to contact them directly.

2) Make a post about partner search on Facebook groups where you can find hundreds of active dancers. Below you can find a wide list of FB groups you could use for this purpose.

3) If you already have many dancers as Facebook friends, you can also search for a partner in your own profile. There your post will get good visibility in your own circle and reach your current dance friends.

When making the post, it’s good to mention the following things:
👉 Which course you want to attend and when it will take place
👉 What is your own level and how much experience you have in that specific style.
👉 If you would like to change partners during classes

SIGNING UP ALONE FOR A PARTNER CLASS

When you don’t have a partner to register for our partner course you can register for a waitlist spot for each course you would like to attend. We will add followers & leaders to the courses in order of registration, while keeping the follower/leader ratio within our set ratio. You will also take part of the partner rotation in this case. Waitlist fee is 50€/Course.

The full course fee amount will be based on the date you got onto the waitlist. If it is before the Early Bird cutoff date then the Early Bird rate applies. After that date the Normal Course rate applies.

What happens to the waitlist fee?

If you get accepted to the course the waitlist fee will be deducted from the course fee due.
If you don’t get accepted we will refund you the waitlist fee.
If you decide to remove yourself from the waitlist before you get accepted we will refund you the waitlist fee.
If you decide not to accept the spot you have already been offered, you will waiver your waitlist fee.

PAYMENT & REGISTRATION

EASY PAYMENT PLAN – PAY LATER OR DIVIDE TO MAX 7 MONTHLY INSTALMENTS!

The payment plan setup has an admin fee of only 15€!

Examples:
1) You want to confirm your spot asap, but can only pay the whole course fee in a few weeks or in 2 months. Register below from the Course Payment Plan Registration and choose 1-time payment and what date you would like to pay.
2) You want to join 1 or more courses but would like to pay in several monthly instalments. Register below from the Course Payment Plan Registration and choose in how many times you would like to pay

PAYMENTS WITH SMARTUM / EPASSI / EDENRED / EAZYBREAK

For payments using cultural credit please first make sure you have an Avec Mindbody Account. If you don’t have one you can create one by clicking on “My Account” then “Create Profile” and complete all the required information.
You can then proceed to make the payment in the App to “Avec Dance Club”. Take a screenshot of the payment or the receipt of the payment and send it to us with your First and Last Name. You can send it through Messenger from the site here or to our email info@avecdanceclub.com.
We will add it to your Avec Mindbody account as credit within 72h. Once it is on your account you can use the credit to make purchases for courses, intensives, privates, social fridays etc.

In general that cultural credit expires so many people also put any remaining credit on their account before it expired for future use.

DANCE ADDICT PASS & SELECTION

If you already know you will come to 3 or more courses you can get a Dance Addict Pass!
When registering for the first course select the Dance Addict Pass instead of Single Course Pass.
This pass is valid for a total of 3 course registrations and remains active on your account until you have used up the registrations.
After that you can get additional courses at 155€/course.

If you are signing up alone for partner courses, first register for the waitlist by clicking on the waitlist button.

MISSING CLASSES & CANCELLED CLASSES

We understand that sometimes people can’t make it to a class for whatever reason. Though this is beyond our control we are offering you some options:

You can sell your spot.
You can sell your spot to someone in the same role and that has the level of the class.
No Show/Missed Class
In case you don’t sell your spot you can report your missed class here. At the end of the season you will receive up to 2 recovery passes / course that can be used only during the Dance Week after the season. These are complimentary and can’t be sold or transferred.

If we have to cancel classes on behalf of Avec and we cannot recover them before the end of July, we will email all participants instructions for compensation and reimbursement.

Note that all courses are limited and have a no refund policy. This recovery system is an additional service Avec offers for their students. At no point is Avec liable financially for a students not being able to attend their course classes, recovery classes if class dates are moved, or being able to use and benefit of this additional recovery service.
