AVEC AUTUMN 2022 SEASON START ON MONDAY AUGUST 29th!
The autumn courses last for 14 weeks.
In addition we reserved 2 weeks after the 14-week course for recovery classes and our Dance Week!

COUPLE REGISTRATIONS VS INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATIONS

During the 2022 Autumn season we have optional partner rotation in the classes. We highly recommend for everyone to participate, as that will help with learning and you will get to know our amazing community!

COUPLE REGISTRATIONS
In order to ensure a better ratio in our partner classes, those that register with a partner can register for their course straight away. If you are already attending a course and planning on coming back you can ask a partner in your current course or in the Avec Family Group on Facebook. Please discuss with your partner before attending if you will be taking part in the optional partner rotation, and you and your partner can change your decision to rotate or not at any time during the season.

INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATIONS
When registering alone for a partner class you will need to get a waitlist pass. Every week we will add people from the waitlist to a course in pairs in order of registration and allow additional followers/leaders within our ratio limits. Individual registrations always take part in the optional rotation. More details in the waitlist section below.

At Avec we use Mindbody to manage all our students and courses.

So if you haven’t got an Avec Mindbody account yet please follow these steps to set up your account.

Click on My Account in our menu bar
Click on “Create Profile” and fill out all the required details
In order to speed up the purchase check out process in future, add a debit/credit card. Head to your profile and under account info add a debit/credit card in the payment info section. This is also where you can update it if your card expires. And at any time here you can check your purchase history, passes available on your account, schedule and history.
Click on the registration button which will take you to our course selection page, remember that for couple courses you will need to enter if you want to dance as a follower or leader during the class.

HOW TO FIND A PARTNER FOR YOUR COURSE

1) If you already know other students from your previous classes you would like to train with, don’t hesitate to contact them directly.

2) Make a post about partner search on Facebook groups where you can find hundreds of active dancers. Below you can find a wide list of FB groups you could use for this purpose.

3) If you already have many dancers as Facebook friends, you can also search for a partner in your own profile. There your post will get good visibility in your own circle and reach your current dance friends.

When making the post, it’s good to mention the following things:
👉 Which course you want to attend and when it will take place
👉 What is your own level and how much experience you have in that specific style.
👉 If you would like to change partners during classes

SIGNING UP ALONE FOR A PARTNER CLASS

When you don’t have a partner to register for our partner course you can register for a waitlist spot for each course you would like to attend. We will add followers & leaders to the courses in order of registration, while keeping the follower/leader ratio within our set ratio. You will also take part of the partner rotation in this case. Waitlist fee is 50€/Course.

The full course fee amount will be based on the date you got onto the waitlist. If it is before the Early Bird cutoff date then the Early Bird rate applies. After that date the Normal Course rate applies.

What happens to the waitlist fee?

If you get accepted to the course the waitlist fee will be deducted from the course fee due.
If you don’t get accepted we will refund you the waitlist fee.
If you decide to remove yourself from the waitlist before you get accepted we will refund you the waitlist fee.
If you decide not to accept the spot you have already been offered, you will waiver your waitlist fee.

DANCE ADDICT SELECTION

If you want to have a Dance Addict Pass please purchase this first! You can pay in 1 go or use the easy payment plan.
The Dance Addict Pass allows you to sign up for 3 courses straightaway, and you get the extra courses for only 100€ per course! Note that if you don’t have a partner for the extra courses you will first need to get a waitlist pass.
Please check the schedule above for any courses that are already full.

If you are instead purchasing only 1-2 single courses and are registering with a partner for partner courses, you can straightaway click on the Course Registration Button below and purchase your pass during the registration process, remember to enter your partner’s name for each course you register for.

IMPORTANT INFO

RECOVERY PASSES / CLASS SUBSTITUES

If you are absent from the course for any reason,

We will automatically reimburse you for a maximum of two absences as recovery passes (a 25 €) at the end of the season. These passes can be used at the special dance week we have at the end of season. In case we do not keep the dance week for whatever reason the passes will be valid for normal intensive weekends and beginner bootcamps for a set period of time.
Or you can get someone to replace you on the class you are not attending! You can arrange this how you like with the substitute.

If we have to cancel classes on behalf of Avec and cannot recover them before our winter break, we will email all participants instructions for compensation and reimbursement.
